global warming or gossip

Dear Friend,

Top reporters must prioritize global warming over gossip.
Take action and help make global warming a priority in this election.
Global warming is one of the biggest issues our next president will face. But you wouldn't know it by watching the news.
Out of thousands of questions for the candidates, major political reporters have mentioned the words "global warming" in only 10 all year! Instead we've heard about UFOs, baseball, flag pins, and other gossip.
Why are the reporters not asking the candidates to take a stand on global warming - the greatest challenge of our time? What are they waiting for?
People are tired of seeing global warming ignored by the media. That's why already in 2008, more than 200,000 people have signed a petition calling on the media to make global warming a priority.
Global warming won't wait for politics and the time for waiting is long gone. The American people support national global warming action and expect this to be a major part of the political debate.
We need political reporters to ask serious questions of the candidates on the dire threat of global warming.
